Cosmetic Dentistry and Smile Makeovers
A smile makeover is a plan, not a single procedure. We combine cosmetic treatments around your goals, your features and your budget.
Cosmetic Treatments We Offer
- Teeth Whitening
- Dental Veneers
- Cosmetic Bonding
- Smile Makeover
- Gum Contouring / Gingivectomy
- Cosmetic Crowns & Bridges
What Each Treatment Actually Does
Teeth whitening lightens the shade of your natural teeth without changing their shape or position. It acts on natural tooth structure only, so it does not lighten existing veneers, crowns, bridges or tooth-coloured fillings, which is why shade is decided before that work is made.
Dental veneers are thin shells placed over the front of the teeth to change their color, shape, size, or length. We work with composite, zirconia-reinforced composite, Emax porcelain and porcelain-fused-to-zirconia; the material affects look, strength and cost.
Cosmetic bonding uses a tooth-coloured composite shaped directly onto the tooth to repair a chip, close a small gap or reshape an edge. It is built up in the clinic rather than made in a laboratory, so there is no fabrication wait, and it involves little or no removal of tooth structure.
Gum contouring, also called gingivectomy, reshapes the gum line where the gums sit low or unevenly and make teeth look shorter than they are. It changes the frame around the teeth rather than the teeth themselves, and may be planned alongside veneers.
Cosmetic crowns and bridges cover the whole tooth rather than only its front surface. A crown suits a tooth too damaged for a veneer; a bridge replaces a missing tooth using the neighbouring teeth for support. See prosthodontics for the restorative side of this work.
A smile makeover is not a separate treatment. It combines the above into one sequenced plan, so shade, shape and proportions match across the smile.
Veneers Are Our Signature Work
Explore Emax porcelain, zirconia-reinforced composite and porcelain-fused-to-zirconia options on our veneers page, with real before-and-after cases from our clinics. For treatments that use Digital Smile Design, your dentist may be able to show you a digital preview as part of treatment planning. A preview is a plan, not a guarantee.
Every plan starts with an examination and honest advice on what will and will not suit your teeth.
Is a Smile Makeover for You?
Who it may help
Patients with healthy teeth and gums who want to change the appearance of their smile, from a brighter shade to reshaping chipped, worn or uneven teeth.
Who it may not suit
Veneers in particular may not suit patients with active gum disease, severe tooth decay, inadequate enamel, or those who severely grind their teeth (bruxism). Suitability requires an in-person clinical assessment, and sometimes another treatment is the better fit.
Things to consider
Underlying decay or gum concerns are treated first. Some cosmetic treatments alter the tooth surface and are not reversible, so your dentist will walk you through what each option involves.
How a Makeover Comes Together
- Consultation and a full examination. The dentist examines your teeth and gums, discusses the look you want, and may take photos, X-rays or digital scans.
- A plan combining the treatments that fit your case. It covers the recommended treatments, materials and schedule of visits.
- Digital Smile Design preview where the treatment uses it. Not every cosmetic treatment is. Where it is used, the preview is part of planning and is not a guarantee of the final result.
- Treatment delivered in planned stages. Preparatory work such as cleaning or gum care comes first, then the cosmetic treatments in order.
- Review and aftercare guidance. Your dentist checks the result and explains how to look after it.
How Long It Takes and How Long It Lasts
Number of visits
Most veneer cases are completed within a few visits: consultation and planning, preparation, and placement. The exact timeline depends on the number of teeth treated and the material used, since lab-crafted veneers require fabrication time between visits. A plan combining several treatments takes longer, because the stages are sequenced.
Aftercare
Maintain standard oral hygiene practices, including brushing and flossing. Avoid biting on hard objects like ice or using your teeth as tools. Regular dental check-ups are recommended.
How long results last
Cosmetic results are not permanent. Veneers, bonding and crowns may need replacement over time, and whitened teeth can stain again from food, drink and smoking. How long any of it holds depends on the material, your bite and how the teeth are looked after.
How It Compares With the Alternatives
Cosmetic treatment is not always the simplest route to the result you want.
- Shade only: whitening alone may be enough, and is the least invasive option.
- Position: orthodontic treatment, braces or ON Aligners, moves the teeth rather than covering them.
- One small chip or gap: bonding may achieve the goal without the preparation a veneer needs.
- A badly damaged tooth: a crown may be appropriate rather than a veneer.
- Cleaning and upkeep: general dentistry, which often comes first.
How to Prepare for Your First Visit
Bring the specifics: which teeth bother you, whether the concern is colour, shape, gaps or alignment, and what you want the result to look like. Photos of smiles you like help, and so does an honest sense of your budget. Tell your dentist if you grind your teeth, if your teeth are sensitive, or if you are planning other dental treatment, since all three change the plan.
Where These Treatments Are Available
Veneers and smile makeovers are offered at BGC, Makati and Cebu. For the other cosmetic treatments on this page, contact us to confirm availability at your branch, since treatment and dentist availability may differ among branches. Digital Smile Design is one of our digital dentistry services; contact us to confirm which are available at your preferred branch.
Benefits and Considerations
A single coordinated plan avoids piecemeal work and keeps the result consistent across your smile.
Cosmetic results vary with the condition of the underlying teeth, and some treatments need maintenance or eventual replacement.
Whitening alone, bonding, or orthodontic alignment may achieve your goal. The examination determines the simplest route that works.
Frequently Asked Questions
Every plan starts with an examination. Your dentist assesses your teeth and goals and recommends the treatments that fit, from whitening to veneers to a full smile makeover.
Real patient cases are on our veneers page and our testimonials page.
For treatments that use Digital Smile Design, your dentist may be able to show you a digital preview as part of treatment planning. A preview is a plan, not a guarantee. Not every cosmetic treatment is planned this way, and your dentist will tell you whether yours is.
No. Whitening lightens natural tooth structure only. Existing crowns, veneers, bridges and tooth-coloured fillings keep their shade, which is why shade is normally agreed before that work is made.
Most veneer cases are completed within a few visits: consultation and planning, preparation, and placement. A plan combining several treatments takes longer because the stages are sequenced. Your dentist will give you a visit-by-visit schedule after your assessment.
Some are and some are not. Whitening does not remove tooth structure. With veneers, a small amount of enamel may be removed to accommodate the veneer, and the process is usually irreversible. Your dentist will walk you through what each option involves.
It depends on which treatments the plan includes, the number of teeth treated, the material chosen and any preparatory treatment needed, such as cleaning or gum care. Final cost depends on your dental condition, the materials used and the complexity of the case. See our treatment price guide for current ranges. Final cost is confirmed after examination.
We accept cash, debit and credit cards for straight payments, bank transfers, GCash, Maya and Apple Pay.
